However, it’s not the highest because the powerful turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine, the non-high-output variant, matches the Coyote’s 400 hp but improves to 500 lb-ft of torque, with maximum towing and payload capacities of 13,500 and 2,445 lbs, respectively.

When the 2021 F-150 launched, the 8-inch SYNC 3 infotainment center and its features became standard, with a new optional SYNC 4 12-inch system with upgraded features, like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, entering the lineup.

The 2024 F-150 removed the SYNC 3 infotainment center like the F-150 had done a few years before with the 4.2-inch system, and the 12-inch SYNC 4 infotainment center became standard. Although much of the functionality surrounding Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is mitigated by GM’s modern infotainment centers having “Google built-in,” most people we spoke to agree that having a choice between Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is the preferred choice. If there’s one thing that could risk the F-150 from losing its nearly 50-year-long streak as America’s best-selling vehicle, it isn’t infotainment tech.

Depending on the truck cabin you purchase, if there’s a rear row of seats, your truck has alternative storage methods. For example, storage compartments under the back seats and extra room provided by folding the chairs down are both ways to store more than what the bed holds.
