Your Guide to Choosing the Right Mustang Mach-E
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is one of the most powerful, innovative, and exciting vehicles on the road, delivering an all-electric driving experience that you have to feel for yourself to fully appreciate. If you say to your phone, “Find the Ford dealer near me” and come visit us at North Bay Ford, then you will quickly discover that you have more than one fantastic option available to you when it comes to the Mustang Mach-E. For the 2024 model, there are four different versions available, offering several amazing trims to choose from so that you can get everything you are looking for. These differences are more significant than aesthetic variations or a few novelty features, however, so it’s very important that you check out what’s available to you and choose the right one with everything you want. Let’s take a closer look at the four available trim levels for the 2024 Mustang Mach-E, and you’ll see what we mean.
The Mustang Mach-E Select
As you’re checking out the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E, unless you already have a sense of which one you want, the Select model is a great place to start. This is the standard trim, and it showcases all of the starting features of this electrified SUV, with bold performance and great details inside and out. The Select model comes with a 72kWh Standard-range battery and a single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) system, which means it delivers 264 hp and 387 lb-ft of instant torque. This is excellent performance that ensures you have a good time on the road, whether you are running errands or heading out of town for the weekend.
With this setup, the Mustang Mach-E gets an estimated 250 miles of range from a full charge. Plus, you can easily charge it at home or use a DC Public Fast Charging station for a faster charge when you’re out on the road. If you want enhanced performance, then a 91kWh Extended-range battery and electric all-wheel drive (eAWD) with a pair of motors is available for the Select, boosting power up to 365 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque for a truly exhilarating experience. This also increases the range to an estimated 300 miles from a full charge, letting you go further and ensuring you have an amazing time on the way there.
Standard features on the Mustang Mach-E Select include a body-color roof, manual rear liftgate, and LED exterior lighting. You get the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of safety technology standard on every model, which includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, a Blind Spot Information System, and much more. Inside the Select, you’ll find a gorgeous 15.5-inch LCD Capacitive touchscreen for the Infotainment system paired with a 10.2-inch Digital Instrument Panel Cluster screen, plus a wireless charging pad, comfortable ActiveX seating in Black Onyx, and much more. This might be the starting trim for the Mustang Mach-E, but you can see that it’s anything but standard in terms of the exciting features and performance it brings to the road.
The Mustang Mach-E Premium
If you like the standard performance and options of the Select model but are interested in some key upgrades, then the Premium trim is a great choice. This version of the Mustang Mach-E has the same standard-range battery and RWD motor, with the Extended-range battery and AWD setup available, too. You can also choose the Extended-range battery with a single-motor configuration for the Premium model, which gets you 290 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque, plus an exceptional 320 miles of estimated range from a full charge. If you want a great ride that also lets you go as long as possible between charging, then this is the setup to choose.
You’ll find a number of enhancements on this Premium model compared to the Select, such as a power liftgate and power-folding heated side mirrors with LED turn signal indicators. Inside the Premium, you get a Memory-Driver’s Seat and Side View Mirrors, which are perfect if you share your vehicle with another driver, as well as a heated steering wheel and multi-color ambient lighting. You also get a 10-speaker B&O sound system inside the Premium, rather than the standard six-speaker system, and heated front seats for added comfort.
The Mustang Mach-E GT
While the Select and Premium are both exceptional vehicles, if incredible power and performance are what you’re after, then the GT model is where you should start. The Mustang Mach-E GT comes with the standard 91kWh extended-range battery along with a dual-motor eAWD configuration with an upgraded front motor that provides 480 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. This means that every GT model is a joy to drive, but you can go even further by choosing the available GT Performance Upgrade, which boosts output to 700 lb-ft of instant torque, giving you extraordinary acceleration that lets this beast go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.
You get a MagneRide Damping system with the GT model that responds to changes in driving conditions in real-time to help improve comfort and handling, keeping you in control no matter what you encounter. Stunning 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires are standard on the GT (other trims come with 19-inch wheels), along with Brembo front brakes to help you safely slow and stop all this power. Inside, you’ll find a lot of the same great features that the Premium offers, along with Ford Performance Gray perforated ActiveX front seats with unique inserts.
The Mustang Mach-E Rally
If you’re someone who enjoys an outdoor lifestyle and you want a stunning EV SUV to get you to your favorite campground or go off-road, then check out the Mustang Mach-E Rally. Purposely designed for off-road adventures, the Rally features a unique grille shield with integrated fog lights for improved visibility through dust and dirt on the trail. You also get a redesigned front splitter on the Rally trim for an improved approach angle and underbody shielding to help protect your Mustang Mach-E when heading off-road. This absolute beast comes with the 91kWh battery, eAWD setup, and the GT Performance Upgrade for 700 lb-ft of torque—plus Brembo front brakes and a Rallycross-tuned MagneRide Damping system designed to handle anything the trail throws at you.
You’ll find 19-inch unique Oxford White wheels on the Mustang Mach-E Rally trim wrapped in Michelin CrossClimate2 All-Season Performance tires designed to let you go just about anywhere. The Rally model features a front recovery hook, Mach-E Rally door graphics, and hood and decklid stripes for a unique touch of rally-inspired style. Inside, you get all of the amazing features we’ve come to expect at this point, plus sport pedals and a unique RallySport Drive mode designed to improve performance out on the trail. The Ford Performance front seats round out the inside of this incredible machine, ensuring you’re comfortable with a durable design that is easy to keep clean.
